It's great to meet you!!
Hey Y'all, my name is Kendra. I am building this blog to write about my daily tasks and adventures. A little bit about me... I was born and raised in Washington state. I didn't have a "normal" childhood, but I did have a happy one. I lived with my mom and grandparents or one or the other. Once I hit 7th grade I lived with my grandparents' full time. We ended up in a town just south of Seattle called Puyallup, which is what I consider to be "home". After I graduated High School my grandparents moved to Las Vegas, and I followed but soon moved back home after being too homesick for my friends and other family members.
I got pregnant with my first child in 2005 and moved back in with my mom to get out of a bad situation. My daughter, Emily, made her grand appearance later that year and boy let me tell you, she was the most beautiful baby girl I had ever laid eyes on. (She is still one of the most gorgeous girls I have ever seen.) My mom ended up moving to Las Vegas to be closer to my grandparents. My Gma ended up getting very sick in 2011 and ended up in a nursing home. In that nursing home she ended up gaining about 150 pounds of water weight and couldn't walk. We weren't even sure that she was going to make it. I would call her, and she could barely speak but always knew who I was. I wanted to go down to be with her but at this time I was pregnant with my second child. Once my son, Ethan, came into this world I waited till after our 6-week checkup and headed right on down to Las Vegas to help care for my Gma.
